Hilary on Vacation..Ashlee Should Too

Hilary has once again updated her diary and she says that she is taking off the entire month of November. Sadly, while she was away her cd has sunk drastically in the charts and her movie has all but disappeared from the theatres (locally it was gone after only 3 weeks, from the entire southern part of the state in 4 weeks). It would be nice if "Raise Your Voice" made it to DVD before Christmas, but I think it would be a little too late for that kind of release date schedule. I doubt that this year Hilary will be doing a Christmas special like the one that was promised last year on the WB. But while she is off during her monthlong vacation, she really should evaluate her whole career. Hilary..if you are out there reading this..please email or message me and let's discuss your future. I think it would be in your best interest to talk to someone with life experience like myself to help you out! (I know, Hilary probably doesn't read this blog..but hey anything is absolutely possible in the real world right!)

Now onto the reason why I am writing this entry: Ashlee Simpson's appearance on Saturday Night Live. Yes, she does lip-sync and her messed up performance proved it!! Ashlee, you can call it a "band error", "acid-reflux" problem, or even "sabotage by my sister Jessica", but you can't hide. Your career is nearly over..and your stunt two days later on the Radio Music Awards by playing the wrong song was childish, if not a very bad prank. You are a lovely girl Ash, but let's face it..please don't fake your career or just try to roll with it like Hilary did at last year's MTV New Year's Bash when her cd skipped. She kept singing and didn't let the problem effect her except you could see her sweat..real bad!! But in light of all this..at least you aren't like...

Tara Reid. This late-breaking story is more of what wardrobe malfunctions are made of. First it was Janet, this time Tara did even a bigger exposure so to speak. On the red carpet entrance to P. Diddy's Birthday Party, Tara's dress decided to take a little slide off her left shoulder and she showed a boob. For 8 glorious seconds, the press got a good look at Tara until a publicist came over and fixed her back up. Apparently, Tara was very upset over this and begged the press not to use any of the shots in media releases.

Now I have a couple of issues with this: First, she has exposed her full chest before in the "American Pie" films, so why would she get upset over this exposure. After all, she isn't really showing anything that people haven't seen before at the theatre. Second, maybe she is really trying to hide something or maybe she was trying to tease people with her exposure because rumors have been going around that she had implants. Maybe a big "show" is expected in a forthcoming movie. I know I don't really care about her future and we all know that Hilary would never do anything like this. We all know Hilary much better than this. For those of you wondering why I am bringing this up is because Tara is one of Lindsay Lohan's friends and we all know Lindsay still hates Hilary for real!!

Until next time just remember at least this stuff isn't happening to Hilary!! luv ya'll xoxo lou

Hilary Updates Her Diary..I Guess I Update Too

It has been almost a month since the last update and there has certainly been plenty of things to write about.

First off, I think any Hilary fan will be disappointed that the movie "Raise Your Voice" has done so poorly. I have not read a single positive review to this movie. Even the film clips I have seen make this movie look bad. This movie looks like leftovers from the "Brave New Girl" movie that aired earlier this year. Unfortunately, Hilary's movie debuted at #6 with only about $4 million in sales and this week is at #9. Sadly, this movie may be leaving theatres in the next couple of weeks. The good news (if you can call it that) is that the movie may possibly see a Christmas release on DVD. I said possibly..it certainly can't hurt to have it released around Christmas time.

If the movie wasn't bad enough, Hilary's second cd has also not been a stellar performer either. It debuted at #2 and has slid down to #6 this week. I also have a couple of ideas what happened to this as well. First, the album had no promotions from Hilary. The day it was released she was in Mexico celebrating her 17th birthday for a long deserved vacation..I bet her cd sold well in Mexico. This was absolutely the wrong time for her to take a vacation. Second, the cd was sale-priced at around $11.99 during its debut week. While her first cd debuted at $9.99, its apparent that more people need to be paid the second time around accounting for the higher price. In addition to that, her debut cd featured a bonus track (at Target), a watch (Circuit City..no I didn't get this one), or a special editon signature cover (Disney Store). This time there were no bonus tracks, watches, or special covers and not only that but the Disney Store shows no intention of carrying the cd for some reason. This to me spells trouble for her fledging career.

Before her current trip to Japan and Australia, she appeared in a few morning news talk shows and also Ellen and Conan. It is the two latter appearances that are worth noting because in both of them she demonstrates her gymnastic ability. She is really great at gymnastics..maybe she should give up the singing and acting for this instead!! Her only singing appearance was on Ellen and yes she did lip-sync her song "Fly".

Also a couple of weeks ago, she was featured co-host of Nick's "Let's Just Play". If you remember my review of last year's show, it was a complete disaster. This year's show was 1 hour shorter at 2 and half hours, but was still too long for me. At least, we weren't tortured with "Spongebob" this year..this year we had "Rugrats All Grown Up", slightly more likeable but still very childish. The really bad thing about this show was that the camera angles weren't properly placed and Hilary and co-host Romeo had no clue when they were on camera most of the time!! Sadly, Nick was off the air that afternoon for 3 hours to encourage kids to get out and play and then come back at 6pm to watch others play. It is understandable why Nick didn't mention this show and Hilary's website didn't either!! On a scale of 1 to 10: 6. Oh yes, Hilary lip-synced "Fly" during the final half hour of the show!!

The big question now is what's next for Hilary? No birthday special this year. No possible Christmas special as promised last year. No tv series for her to star in. Gee, maybe she should start getting serious about a relationship. I am available for that one, or at the current time anyone at that.

I am hoping to get more updates sooner, but issues have come up to keep me from doing that!! Been way too busy like Hilary to update..but until next time

Happy 17th Birthday Hilary!!

Last night on the eve of Hil's 17th birthday, she appeared on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno". This episode was significant for 2 reasons: Hil was on it and it was the 50th anniversary of the show. When she made her appearance, she looked nervous and her right leg was shaking real bad! She performed the song "Fly" and unfortunately it sounded at parts like it was performed by a chorus, not by her alone. It was quite obvious that she once again was lip-syncing because she always holds her microphone so close to her mouth as she doesn't want it to show. After her performance, she mentioned that she is going to Mexico with her sister and a couple of friends to celebrate her birthday for a couple of days off with NO WORK!! Unfortunately this sounds like a bad idea for a girl who had her cd coming out the day of her 17th birthday. This means that instead of promoting her cd she is on a beach in Mexico enjoying herself!! I'm curious if this will mean that this cd won't do as well as the first one..the first one turned into a triple platnium seller that was #1 for a few weeks!! However, Hilary wasn't without one little bit of work: she telephoned in on her cellphone to MTV's TRL on Tuesday discussing her cd and her Mexican vacation that she was currently on! Apparently, she does work even on off time!!

One thing that I felt was odd about the release of this cd (which I bought a couple copies of) is that when I went my local Disney Store to find out if they had a special edition version of Hil's cd, the manager of the store said "Is she still employed with us?". I had a hard time not breaking out in laughter when I heard this after all she was standing right in front of a display where her first cd and latest dvd was on the rack!! And to answer this question, YES she is still employed under Disney through the Hollywood Records label. So sad that Disney employees don't even know her status with the company. I guess they don't care enough about her to even know if they are even going to carry her cd!!

On another front, Hil's rival Lindsay has become the cover girl of GQ magazine in a VERY sexy pose. The pictures inside are almost as bad and sexy. Of course I just had to purchase this magazine just because I felt the need to. This is on top of the fact that just the week before Hilary appeared on Blender and Avril (I forgot to wish Avril a happy 20th birthday for Monday, me bad) made the cover of Maxim. All of these young girls appearing on more adult covers is becoming disturbing because they are being treated like sex objects. It almost wouldn't surprise me if we see JoJo on the cover of the next issue of Playboy just to round out the group. I hope I am just kidding and that this won't become true (she's only 13 and well it is way out of her league anyway).

Anyway Hil will be starting her tour of Japan and Australia in a couple of weeks, but no before she appears in this year's version of Nick's "Let's Just Play". I will be reviewing this in my next post. Could it be worse than last year's? We will see....

Until next time..Hil enjoy your vacation and your birthday..have a piece of cake for me!!

see ya'll xoxo lou

World Music Awards 2004 and Hilary in the Blender

On Wednesday September 15, 2004, ABC aired the World Music Awards 2004 show live from Las Vegas. If you thought the MTV VMAs were bad that was nothing, this was many times worse and shared some of the same problems.

To start some of the offenders from the VMAs were there: Alicia Keys, OutKast, and Usher to name a few. The first award handed out was for best new artist and our girl Hil was nominated for this category and suprisingly she WON!!! When she went up on stage, it was easy to tell it was totally unexpected for her, but she managed to thank just about everyone she knew except one person: ME!! I personally feel responsible for putting this girl on the front line of her music career although she would probably disagree!! She looked great in the dress she wore.

About 20 minutes later, Hil was onstage performing her new hit song "Fly" and unfortunately it was easy to tell that she was lip-syncing the whole song!! Nobody could make the song sound like it was just cut from the cd like that!! Its sad that Hilary doesn't feel comfortable enough yet to perform live which may cut her music career significantly. Only time will tell...

Between Hil's two appearances, Avril Lavigne appeared on stage performing her hit "My Happy Ending". All I could think about is "What did she do to her hair?". It looked like she stole a wig from Dolly Parton's 1970's collection!! It looked awful, but she was able to warble through her song without any lip-syncing at all!!

The rest of the show was pretty forgetful until the end when once again OutKast became the end credit performers and once again the stage was littered with confetti this time!! So sad that they don't open the show instead of closing everytime.

My grade for the show is a C-. Hilary's performance is a B-. Avril's performance is a B (the hair gets an F.).

On another topic, I usually like to consider Hil to be the darling of magazines such as Tiger Beat, Bop, Teen People and others. I didn't expect her to be the cover girl of October 2004's Maxim's Blender Magazine. She looked good, but I think she may start alienating her fans by appearing on such an adult magazine. It just didn't seem appropriate that this 16 year old should appear on the cover of this magazine, but all the pics of her were tasteful and NOT sexy staying with her belief that she doesn't want to be sexy. I still would not recommend this magazine to anyone under the age of 16 however. It is still a worthy purchase though for those obssessive fans like myself!! This magazine is now on sale!!

One final note I want to bring up is the idea of messenging me. Some of my closest friends have been ignoring me lately (you know who you are) and some of my newest friends have been not making regular conversations either. Also some old friends like Becky haven't talked to me in about 2 months (SO SAD)!! To everyone, I really want to know what the problem is? Do you hate me? If so, why? Do you think I am out of touch with reality with this Hilary thing? Please I really wanna know? If you don't wanna message me, you can leave a comment or send an email to me!! But please don't leave me in the dark..my feelings can get hurt when I feel left out of everything!!

Anyway..until next time xoxo Hilary...I mean lou

MTV Video Music Awards 2004 Reviewed

Before I begin, let me say that the show had no controversies nor was it enjoyable. At 3 hours and 20 minutes, this show seemed like one very long and dull broadcast!!

However, Hilary was there dressed in a nice black top and tuxedo shorts (long pants that she cut to make shorts..a new fashion trend maybe). At 15 minutes after the hour, Hilary lost the Best Pop Video to No Doubt for the horrible song "It's My Life". I will admit that "Come Clean" wasn't great and I was actually hoping that Britney's "Toxic" would win. Hilary really didn't belong in this group of nominees anyway. Hilary's second disappointment was when she was presenting the award for "Best Rap Video" and she was upstaged by the entrance of her co-presenter Matthew "Shaggy" Lillard. He arrived on a raft that was moved among the crowd. Naturally, the camera focused away from her and onto him and his travel to the stage! In the span of 30 minutes, Hilary had seen her share of disappointments.

The only other good part happened 2 and 1/2 hours later, when JoJo arrived on stage at 11pm. Yes, it was too late for many of her fans to see her and her appearance lasted longer than Hilary's, but she proved at 13 that she is a powerhouse who will be quite a force in the future!! The girl didn't look the least bit nervous unlike Hilary who looked like she was going to break down any minute!! JoJo didn't win new artist either. So Hilary and JoJo can cry together.

The bulk of the show looked like something that should be airing on BET. You could almost count the white performers on one hand. Nothing great about the show..no Britney, no Justin, and no Madonna!!

The show "ended" with OutKast performing "Hey Ya" while a "Presidential convention" atmosphere happened around them!! Ballons fell from the ceiling, signs of "OutKast", and the banner "Choose or Lose" waved everywhere. Was this show one big political convention or an award show? I say neither!!

However, I cannot end this review of the show without mentioning Alicia Keys: the frizzied big hair, the big sunglasses, and the total lack of undergarment left nothing to the imagination especially when the camera pulled back to do a long angle shot..it looked like she was topless!! C'mon Alicia if you really want to go topless then go that way, don't compromise the idea with an extremely tight fitting skin colored top!!

My rating on a scale of 1 to 10:

Hilary: 10 (as always..by the way her sister gets a 10 as well..go to www.mtv.com to check out their pics of them preparing for the big show!!)

JoJo: 10 (she is hot and keeps getting better..one to definitely watch in the future!!)

The show: -1,000,000 (Bring the show back to New York and back into what it is meant to be!!)

Until next time..luv ya'll xoxo lou (stay away the VMAs)!!

Various Topics to Discuss

First off, Hilary still hasn't written a diary entry since May 24th. But all is not lost, because Christine (a roadie on hilarious tour) is giving a day-by-day entry of basically everything the girls do. Judging from the vast majority of entries, eating seems to be one the top priorities. Didn't I mention that one before?

Second, Hilary is releasing another new video next week. It is a song called "Fly" and it is getting a lot of airplay including over my work's Muzak system. Although I don't have the words down yet, it is still a great song to be released on hilarious album coming out on her birthday next month (title yet unknown). The video is currently airing on Yahoo.com and on the Nick special "Hilary Duff: Learning to Fly". Which leads me to....

Third, this latest making of video of Hilary is basically her doing the song "Fly" in front of a live audience with clips of her goofing around when not on stage. The video is basically black and white with a couple of color segments, but like the live version of "So Yesterday", it just is basically the same concept as that video. Of course, that one never got into the top ten of TRL. Let's hope "Fly" flies and not dive bombs. I love the song, but the video is just above ok. The rest of the half hour is another introduction to her band and a tour of her dressing room at the Worcester Centrum and a tour of her bus. Nothing really earth-shattering here, just likeable fluff. Perfect for the Duff fans like me.

Speaking of videos, a couple of weeks ago "Hilary Duff: The Girl Can Rock" was released on DVD. It is a concert disc with segments from the Ryan Seacrest show and the birthday bash from last year. The two-hour disc is worth the $15 if you are a fan, a great addition to the first disc.

Speaking of DVD's, I expect that now that "A Cinderella Story" has left the local theatres that this movie will be released on DVD well before Christmas. Sadly, this movie only topped out at number 3 in the ratings and has taken in a dismal $46 million after only about 6 weeks.

While we are talking sad news, "On-Air with Ryan Seacrest" has been cancelled. This show really wasn't too bad except it could have worked if the following things were followed:

  • Less "American Idol"..don't bring your night job with you..enough is enough!!
  • Stay awake..many times Ryan looked like he was going to take a nap during segments..now you will have plenty of time for naps!!
  • Competition was rough..Dr. Phil and TRL aired during the same time segments..
  • Ryan needed to shave..he calls it a look..I call it looking bad!!
  • Called itself "Live"..but why did Access Hollywood that aired an hour earlier already have segments from that day's show already on? Must be Memorex..
  • It ran on Fox..need I say more?
  • He didn't admit he loved Hilary!! Ryan, I get first take on her hand in marriage!!

The pluses to the show was the great guests which included Janet Jackson, Jessica Simpson, JoJo, and our Hilary. Really, with guests like these how could the show fail...well maybe you do need a little more than that!!

On one final note, this site is averaging over 125 hits a month!! I am very proud of that and glad that people support Hilary as much as I do!! Now I want to introduce the concept of comments!! To enter your comments, just click on the Posted by link at the end of the entry and a new window should open up where you can enter your own comments. Be advised though that I will be monitoring all comments and will delete any that I feel are offensive. Let's make this blog great..get involved!!

Until next time..luv ya'll lou xoxo (hey someones gotta keep up the hilary tradition!!)

Two Conversations..Two Very Different Worlds

In the last couple of nights, I have had conversations with both a friend and a complete stranger on-line and the results weren't quite what I expected.

Starting with the second conversation first with my friend: He seems to be irritated with me for no reason that I can understand. Although it is based solely on the fact that we like the same girl sort of. He really has no reason to like her, but she has a crush on him and I have one on her. I feel no reason to advance my feelings to her because I don't want to hurt her in anyway. But he being the loser he is tells me that I am just to old for her!!! This hurts real bad given that love should never show an age barrier within reason. I think he left that conversation mad at me, but I don't feel bad because I know he is hiding a secret that he is not willing to tell me, whether good or bad. Stay tuned....

Now onto the conversation I had on Wednesday night with a stranger.. WARNING: This is rated PG-13..so those that are offended may want to skip the rest of this entry until I say below it is safe. The first thing that this person asked for after they came into my messenger was that if I "liked Hilary's boobs". I kid you not!! I thought this was like the strangest question I ever heard. She then wanted me to send her a picture of her that showed her boobs in such a way that she appeared hot!! After searching through the nearly 100 pictures I have on my computer, I narrowed down the choices down to a couple then sent her one via messenger. As to whether she was satisfied with my "choice" was hard to say, but I felt that the question was just wrong only because she is not like Lindsey Lohan who has basically had her boobs fall out of her clothes lately in many pictures. But again, Lindsey is 18 so she can do it, Hilary is only 16. As I told the girl, I love Hilary for her completeness of her talents and her charity work, not as some cheap girl (not the exact words, however). As I have told everyone before, Hilary is a wonderful girl and I respect her..I do not wish to exploit her in a demeaning way at all!!

G-rated stuff begins here:

It has been over a month since Becky has contacted me via messenger. Apparently her upcoming wedding means more to her than I do..oh well..

It has also been a month and half since Hilary updated her diary..Come on Hilary give us a short update at least saying that you are still alive..you can even dedicate it to me if you want!!

Until next time...luv ya'll xoxo lou

Finally, A New Posting..

First up, it's been over a month and a half since my last posting. Several things have attributed to this including a vacation, several problems with my computer, and just being busy. Hilary needs now to update her diary now..her last entry was May 24th!! I would love it if the first line of her next entry read "Lou told me I needed to update my diary so this one is for you my dear..". Hey I can dream can't I!! Hilary get writing soon!!

Second, congratulations are in order because Hil along with big sis Haylie FINALLY made it to #1 on MTV's TRL on Friday July 16th. Interestly enough I haven't done one bit of voting during the 30 days that the song has been on the countdown and I am not starting now because I don't want to jinx the song..only 20 days to retirement!! Great Job, girls..I mean ladies!!

Third, to anyone who remembers me talking about my online relationship will be disappointed that she will soon be married and not to me! I got this news a couple of weeks ago and I personally was shocked to hear it, but yet she still thinks we can have conversations after she is married!! Doesn't she know this is like cheating on your spouse? I guess not!! I would be sad to ever let her go because I really don't talk on-line with anyone else which leads to my next thought...

Fourth, only once in the past month or so has someone come online to me and dissed me by saying that I was a pervert for writing all this stuff and that I should get a life!! Thankfully, I ignored this person and will ignore ANYONE else who bad mouths me or Hilary!! These people are just plain rude..however I still offer an open invitation to anyone who wants to talk at anytime! You can see my status by checking the lights near my various handles above or if you want to email me you can do that as well, but I may not answer for awhile because I am WAY behind on my email so don't expect a quick response.

Fifth, my world doesn't just revolve around Hilary (and Haylie, for that matter) Duff. I have also been listening to other new artists as well. Amongst them Ashlee Simpson (Jessica's little sister), I love the song "Pieces of Me". I bought the single a couple of weeks ago because I liked the song so much. However, I like her as a blonde rather than being a brunette. Please change the color back!! I also am obsessed with (JAILBAIT ALERT HERE) JoJo. Her song "Leave (Get Out)" is incredible and the video is even better making her look like a cute cheerleader type girl. Maybe I really like this girl because she reminds me of my last love Jenny who I really haven't had a conversation with in 2 years (please IM me Jen sometime..don't be afraid) . Both of these rising stars show great potential, but of course I will always support Hilary a little more!! I also like the "new" Avril music more and more as I listen to it. Her latest cd songs are better and she seems like she understands herself more than the first album.

Sixth, I won't go to see "A Cinderella Story" at the theatre for one very simple reason: this movie is hopelessly doomed!! It is coming at a time when too many high-profile movies are being released so it will be lost amongst the also-rans. I will wait until it is released on dvd this fall (my prediction it will be released well before Christmas on dvd, possibly around the time her next movie "Raise Your Voice" will be released in October). Sorry, Hilary but these are my feelings about the movie and nothing against you at all!!

Lastly, Hilary please update your diary so I don't appear to be playing the diary game alone. I really like reading what you have to say and yes I watched (and taped) all your recent tv appearances on Leno, Letterman, TRL, and Good Morning America (which also featured her in concert) . I loved all the appearances very much!! So as you travel the country in the next 3 months, just remember you are loved by me and others as well!!

Until next time..luv ya'll xoxo hil* (I mean lou)

Brave New Girl Reviewed and Other Random Stuff

It has been a month since the last time I posted, so I figured I would beat Hilary to the punch and update my blog before she updates her diary. So here it goes..(Hil you need to catch up now!!)

The movie "Brave New Girl" which recently ran on the ABC Family channel is based on the book "A Mother's Gift" written by Britney and Lynne Spears. And my bottom line to the movie is that it wasn't great, but not crap either. The Britney references were apparent: Britney posters on the wall, Britney's "Stronger" song constantly playing. This movie seemed like the "Lizzie McGuire Movie" and "Cadet Kelly" jammed together and mixed to create this mess. A girl who goes to a school she doesn't want to be in and a movie that ends up with a big musical number. Gee, haven't we seen this before? 2 stars out of 5. Watch it but don't get excited over it. Good second rate entertainment!!

Other random thoughts:

Today, when I went shopping at one of my favorite stores and I cashed out with one of my favorite cashiers, I felt my heart fall to the floor when she handed me my bag and called me "Sir". The first thing I felt was saying to her that I wasn't that old to be called Sir and that I really wanted to go out with her!! But my better judgment prevailed unlike my past and decided to leave the store without saying a word.

It is interesting to point out that next week I celebrate my 20th birthday (ok so I am slightly older than that) and I really felt insulted by the comment. It reminded me of another girl that I tried asking out about 9 years ago and she used every excuse in the book like "too busy..Got school..No time..Etc" to get out of even wanting to spend anytime with me at all. Granted, she really wasn't a pretty girl so I felt it would be fairly easy to get her to go out with me!! No luck as she felt I was probably not good enough for her!! Thankfully, I haven't seen her in 8 years.

Going back to the birthday thing, I don't expect to get anything from anyone this year. After all, I have no relationship commitments and I have lost almost all my friends due to various things in the last couple of months (termination, transfer, moving). By the way, why haven't you contacted me AM - I gave you the info? Next year, I may take my birthday off to celebrate my pinnacle birthday year of 21 (ok I am a little older than that)!!

Anyway, lately I haven't heard from my online girl very much in the last couple of months. What used to be a nightly conversation has turned into an occasional conversation every couple of weeks. However, lately I have been having conversations with some Chinese girls (over 21 from China). They have been interesting conversations to say the least.

Finally, I wanna discuss a couple of teen topics. First, Mary-Kate and Ashley have been getting way too much press lately. Yes, they turn 18 in less than a month, but the press shouldn't hound them to death. Second, the over-exposure of Lindsey Lohan. She has recently hosted SNL (I have watched parts of it..Not all of it yet), released "Mean Girls", and been in the tabloids for being a "party girl". She, too, is turning 18 next month, but unlike the Olsens, she seems to be overexposing herself by letting her boobs hang out everywhere. Its nice to have them, but lets face it she shouldn't be flaunting them to the world especially being underage. However, she said in one interview that I read that she wouldn't mind taking her clothes off for a movie in the future. Apparently, she wants to get some early exposure. Thankfully, Hil has better values.

Anyway, until next time..Goodbye...xoxo luv ya'll lou!! Hilary it's your turn to update now!!

And You Thought William Hung Was Good?

Today (Wednesday April 14) on our store's Muzak system at 4:50pm (yes I checked the clock), Hil's song "Come Clean" was played. Naturally and unconsciously, I just started belting out the tune aloud in front of everyone around. I guess I really am obssessed now!! Oh well..my tour of Hilary songs starts soon anyway..it was good practice!!

Anyway until next time..luv ya'll xoxo the New Hilary (why haven't you written in your diary in over a month now?!?)

Kids Choice Awards, ICQ, and Other Random Stuff

First off, our girl won the award on Nick's Kids Choice Awards last weekend for Best Female Singer. Beyond that, the show was pretty much a bore. The Olsen twins got slimed, Avril sang her latest release (what was up with the eye makeup?!?), and Outkast once again sang "Hey Ya!" for the 1 billionth time on an award show. Except for Hil's appearance the show left a lot to be desired.

Recently, there have been quite a few people coming into my ICQ address adding themselves to my contact list. The bad thing is that except for a couple of them, most all of them have never said a word to me. Even then, the couple I have talked with haven't talked to me more than once. From now on, ANYONE who wants to chat with me through ICQ will have to provide their name, age, location, etc in order to talk with me. No info..no talk..its that simple!! You will be reported as spam if you don't follow these rules..you have been warned!!

It is interesting that this page has had about 40 hits in the last month, but I haven't received 1 chat or 1 email. Whoever is viewing this site isn't commenting on it!! Comments are always welcome at any of my email addresses listed. And if there is a topic to be discussed, please email me and I will discuss it here!!

Lastly, its been pretty lonely on the chat lately. I have spoken to my girl just once in the last few days and the whatever girl hasn't spoken to me in over a month!!

Oh well..more later...luv ya'll xoxo lou

**LAST MINUTE NEWS POST CHANGE**

Shortly before I was going to write this entry, my online girlfriend came online and gave me the biggest heartfelt apology I have EVER received!! She was sorry that she wasn't around and apologized for the way she has been acting!! WOW!! I tell you that if I ever saw this girl in person I think I would definitely marry this girl no questions asked even without ever going on a real date. I have learned more about this girl in the six months that we have been together than any girl I have ever been with in real life!! This almost sounds like being stupid, but this is by far the best relationship (very honest) that I have ever had!! Now before I crash land here, the one thing that she seems sick of talking about is Hilary and yes I do tend to agree with that. If you have noticed, less and less seems to be written about her here than ever before. Its not that I don't like her anymore, its just that no one can live on rumors.

One other thing I want to point out is that the "girl" I have been talking to named c*****h_1*** (I blocked out part of the name to eliminate embarrasement) is not my girlfriend. Thankfully, I haven't heard from this person in the last couple of weeks and I wouldn't be surprised if I never here from her ever again..

But then again, who needs her when my GIRLFRIEND IS BACK..LIFE IS OH SO GOOD!!!

Strangest thing is that she said was that the movie "Passion.." changed her life!! Thankfully, she still wants to be with me!! YIPPEEE!!

Well for tonight that is it...luv ya'll xoxo My girlfriend's boyfriend!!!

Lost: One Hilary Duff and a Girlfriend Too Plus Other Random Thoughts

It has been over a month since Hil did her last diary entry..Feb 1st to be exact. There is probably a couple of good reasons why she hasn't done an entry since then. First, she is mad that her sight has added a fanclub charging $35 to join..way too expensive for what little I would get out of it and the gifts just ain't worth the price either. Second, she hasn't had time to do much of anything except go from place to place without really enjoying anything. Hopefully, she hasn't abandoned the site.

Another lost soul is my online girlfriend who hasn't responded to me in about a month either. Very depressing to say the least. However, I have found a couple of new "friends" that seem to have some of the same strange quirks as my girlfriend. Same spelling errors..same way of talking..maybe it is really her just playing a VERY long trick on me!! Here's hoping that she will "Come Clean" soon and expose herself as my girl!! Stay tuned...

Speaking of "Come Clean", this song is dropping like a rock on TRL. Currently at #9, this song has only completed half of its run in order to retire. Ironically, I have voted several times, but she continues to sink!! I still believe TRL is rigged! Here's hoping that she will rise to #1 soon and eventually retire there!

On another thought, last week I received my check from the music cd settlement case. It was for a huge $13.86. Hardly worth celebrating and certainly not a justifiable amount for the number of over-priced cds I have bought of the years (which is what the case was about). Oh well, its at least something. Hopefully the RIAA and their lawyers are enjoying their piece of my money!!

Finally, I did something shocking today. I bought the enhanced cd/dvd combo of Jessica Simpson's "In My Skin" at Target. There were a couple of songs that I liked on it which is why I bought it. Just don't tell Hilary or my girlfriend..if you can find either of them!!

Until next time..searching the world for Hil and my girl..xoxo lou*

About As Hurt As I Could Possibly Be -- Valentine's Day

Before I get into the above idea, I would just like to mention Hil's appearance on the special "NBA: Read to Achieve". She was dressed in a Laker's shirt and was wearing torn jeans. She sang her song (lip-synced) "Come Clean" during the last 10 minutes of the hour-long show. This show is also airing on several networks this weekend, but only the last 10 minutes is worth watching. My grade for the show is a C, Hilary gets an A.

Now, the hurt. Valentine's Day is not a day I enjoy celebrating especially since it has been 3 years since my last serious relationship (with Tanya). For those who thought it was little Jenny from a year and half ago, go stand in the corner and think about how she treated me then you will understand. Anyway, I now feel as if my online (girl)friend is either leaving me or has left me. It has been over 2 weeks since the last time we talked online and it was over 2 weeks before that. I checked her profile and it seems that she has removed her name, age, and her online status. To add insult to injury, she changed her status from "Single, Not Looking" to "Long-Term Relationship". I bet that I am not that one! The last time I spoke with her she said she is working now and also has no time being online. However, I have seen her come online and then within a minute or two disappear. She probably makes herself invisible so that it looks like she ain't there. If I am history, I am really hurt, but then again I have been hurt before. But this time it hurts even worse since she has never meant me in person so she doesn't really know me. I am very sad at this time...

Now on a slightly different topic, I have been bombarded over the weekend by "strangers" claiming to be "Hilary" and "Britney". The weirdest conversation was when the "Hilary" stated that someone in her family was marrying someone in Britney's family and that she was online with Britney at that time, but she could divulge any details about anything. I am bothered by these posers to the extent that the go to the extreme of never letting go of their "fake" personas. Its so sad that the joke goes to far and then they disappear by saying ask me anything and when you ask them a question they can't answer, they just leave for good. I wish these posers would leave for good from everyone's life.

I will keep everyone posted in my relationship standings in the coming weeks..I really hope we can get together again very soon!!! Until next time...luv xoxo hil* (the poser)

Hilary's Big Weekend

Ok, Hil had the best weekend any young girl could ever have.

It all started on Friday Feb 6. She was the featured guest on "On-Air with Ryan Seacrest". Ryan is completely obsessed with this girl just like I am. It was obvious with how the interview was going. The one thing bad about Hil was that she was wearing a black sleeveless top that showed just how big her arms really are. And yes, she still looks flabby in the arms. You could tell she blushed when she announced to the world that she had a boyfriend (no..it ain't me..yet) and she even names him. It was no surprise to those of us of "Team Duff", but to the rest of the world it was quite a shock. At the end of the show, she performed "Come Clean" and unfortunately, this performance was obviously lip-synced. Even worse, the end of the performance was cut-off and interupted by a commercial. Still her entire show gets a 10 out of 10 by me. Excellent job again.

On Saturday, Hil performed in Las Vegas at the Mandaley Bay Resort. I have no review except I know I would be excited performing in Las Vegas.

Finally on Sunday, the topper event of a lifetime: being a presenter at the Grammys. Exactly 1hr and 12min into the show, Hil along with Brian McKnight and Paulina Rubio presented the award for "Best Female Pop Performance". It was won by Christina Aguliera who almost gave her own "Janet" performance. Hil looked incredible in a pink strapless dress, but it looked like she was squeezed into it. Nonetheless, the camera focused in on her when the nominations were read and the winner was announced. Apparently, CBS has already taken a strong presence to her. Just like I have. Other than that there were no major hoopla at the Grammys this year especially in the wake of last weeks Super Bowl. Hil's performance 11 on scale of 1 to 10. She said what a special night it was..and yes princess it was a very special night and weekend for you!!

Until next time..luv ya'll xoxo lou*

A Cause for Celebration or Not

Today, February 2nd marks the 15th anniversary of the night I had with my first post-high school relationship. It was quite a night as I was out until 3am with her at the mall of all places. Jodi and I had worked together in the same now-defunct store along with a manager who was a good friend of ours as we sat around as floor cleaners were polishing and waxing the floors. What I learned that night about the girl would shock anyone and yet to this day I still have feelings for her. Ironically, however, she never quite felt the same way for me as she quit the job less than 2 weeks after that night. Its been about 12 years since I last saw her, but in a way I am glad I haven't seen her since.

In Hilary news, not much to report except that "Come Clean" is now #3 on TRL and the song is getting pretty good airplay locally, which is a good sign that this may actually become a hit! Let's all hope for #1 and get out there and vote!! However, I do have small liking to "Toxic" by Britney which debuted the same day as Hil's song.

Speaking of Brit, here is a weird thought: What happens when you put Brit, Avril, and Hil and create a love child out of them? You get new artist Katy Rose. Her first single "Overdrive" sounds like a combo of Avril and Hil and she has a strange likeness to Brit as well. I really don't like this girl because of her similarities to the others, but only time will tell if she succeeds!

Lastly, my girlfriend of online fame has rejoined me after 8 weeks, but then again who's counting.

One final note of late: I wanna briefly comment on the SuperBowl half-time show. Something by all parties involved: CBS, MTV and Justin should be ashamed of themselves for the climax of this show. Whether it was accidental or purposely is unknown, but either way I don't think the world needed another Jackson getting exposed!! If you don't know what I am talking about, just wait till the tabloids start printing the pics, then you will know!!

Until next time, I think Hil is #1 in my life and you are not. Luv ya'll lou xoxo.

Making the Video and Other Things

Apparently MTV really likes Hil. Not only was she the final live performance for 2003, but she is the first performer featured in the Making the Video series for the new year. She is featured in the making of "Come Clean". It is a somewhat better song than her previous works, but it is more of a ballard than a lively song. There are many funny parts to this show but the funniest is when our girl walks into a door and says "I didn't just do that". Yes, Lizzie still lives klutzy as ever!! The video was really cool and as I have mentioned before it involves a leaky roof and lots of rain!! My grade on the 1 to 10 scale: 10+. Let's hope that this song retires from TRL next despite the failure of "So Yesterday" (live) edition.

On another note, my online girlfriend is back after a 4 week move. She talked to me on Friday night on her cell phone messenger. She hopes to be hooked up Monday back to her computer..here's hoping!!!

Until next time..keep thinking Hil is my #1!!! luv ya'll xoxo lou*

New Year, New Name, and Hil's Blunder!!

We have changed the name of this blog to reflect that Lizzie is history!! Hilary forever!!

Now for comment on the MTV's New Years Eve Bash 2004:

Hilary looked great. But yet she was lip-syncing in her two songs.

Her first appearance was right at the top of the show with her song "So Yesterday". She was dressed in a black tanktop with sleeves cut down to her wrists, a short skirt, and high heels. Note to Hil: please, I beg, please stop going sleeveless, your arms are really getting fat and flabby.

Her second appearance which happened about 20 minutes to midnight would be the last appearance by a performer for 2003 (future trivia question). She was wearing a black tanktop with buckles on it, long pants, and high tan boots.
She was performing "Come Clean". This is when the song skipped and you could obviously tell something had gone wrong. Hil started sweating real bad on her forehead (I miss the bangs). She tried her best to get through the song without too much trouble, but it was obvious that she had been lip-syncing. It sounded too good.

As a co-host, Hil really didn't have much to do. She was more like a fifth wheel and probably did nothing most of the time. In the end credits, Hil was lost somewhere in the background behind everyone else (too short and well hidden). This was a sad way for Hil to end the night, but given everything else she was probably happier hiding!

My score for the show: (on a 10 point scale)
Hil's look: Always 10+
Hil's performance: 5 (lip-syncing sank her)
Co-host duty: 3 (not around much)
Overall show: 7 (I didn't care for the rap music parts)

Special thumbs up to Damien for giving Hil a kiss on the cheek at midnight (I found that pic online), not the lips. If that was me there, believe me she would have gotten a big wet one planted right on her lips. I love you Hil despite your performance. Better luck in 2004.

Until next time..luv ya'll xoxo lou*
My Awards for the Year 2003

It has been awhile since my last posting, but this special awards section should make up for that. This has been a pretty bad year for relationships. Many of you may know that I have only had 2 in the last 3 years and neither of them were any good. Thanks to both Tanya and Jen for making my life a living hell.

First up: The Lou Awards

Insult of the Year:
This year was supposed to be my high school reunion. However, the big insult came from D. She said that "I didn't want to go to my reunion anyway!". Ok, so I was on vacation 1500 miles away at the time. It was worse that I never responded to see whether I was even going to go in the first place.

Most Tearful Moment:
Seeing one of my high school friends who was a great athlete now confined to a wheelchair. He seemed happy though. Very disturbing.

"Kick in the Head" Award:
The reappearance of Mary. Gee, we were such a wonderful couple in junior high and high school, knew each other for 10+ years then. You ran off and got married to a guy you knew less than a year at college. You had about 5 kids and drive a minivan. Now you think I still get excited about you..NOT!!

Best New Fad:
On-line romance (thanks Becky)

Worst New Fad:
On-line romance that moves even further away from you and still hasn't been heard from in 3 weeks. (thanks Becky)

Fad that will get me jail time with Michael Jackson:
Young girls who don't read my profile about my age and come and message me and never go away.

Fad where people do read:
The dissers who hate Hilary come uninvited and say their hatred toward Hilary. I just ignore them.

and finally Girl of the Year:
To be announced February 14, 2004.

Now onto the Hilary Awards:

Best TV Special:
Hilary Duff Birthday Bash (September, the WB)
See Hil sing, see Hil surf, see Hil sing, see Hil ride an ATV, see Hil look wonderful.

Worst TV Special:
Let's Just Play (October, Nickelodeon)
Attention Spongebob fans: this is your show, Hil sung 2 songs. Hardly worth the 3 and half hours of watching. Really feel sorry for Frankie Munitz..he just cooked the hot dogs..nothing else!! Sad show...

Best TV Special Never Made:
Hilary Duff Christmas Special (early December, the WB)
Presumably this show didn't get made because Hil was on tour and the Birthday special got low ratings.

Best CD:
Metamorphosis
Duh..what did you think?

Best video: (3 way tie)
All Access Pass, Agent Cody Banks, and Lizzie McGuire Movie.
All must see just for the extras alone..except for the dissers.

Worst Video: (2 way tie)
Lizzie McGuire TV Series (Volume 1 and 2)
4 episodes each at about $15. Plus side: no nagging "Disney Channel" logo in corner and no commercials.

Best Performance:
Birthday Bash
Hilary's "Come Clean" was wonderful..no obvious lip-syncing here!!

Worst Performance:
American Music Awards (November, ABC)
Headbanging is so yesterday, Hil!

Worst than the Worst Performance:
MTV's New Year's Eve Bash 2004 (December, MTV)
Skipping records and bad lip-syncing made this a night to forget!

"Did I miss Hil on it--I blinked?" Award: (3 way tie)
American Dreams (November, NBC) - Haylie had more of a scene than Hilary did.
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (November, CBS and NBC) - NBC showed a brief performance under 2 minutes..CBS proved she can wave for 10 seconds.

and finally Freebie of the Year:
My Hilary as Lizzie complete with luggage. I love it and her too.

Until next time..luv ya'll xoxo lou*
